Small on hype, big on soul
Grammy-nominated musician and U.S. Navy veteran Ruthie Foster livens up the crowd Saturday night at the 36th annual Rocky Mountain Music Festival at Hop Porter Park in Hailey. Foster’s bluesy, soulful songs highlighted a successful festival that attracted some 3,700 spectators for the two-day event. Foster’s acknowledgement of yellow ribbons around Hailey and her dedication of some of her gospel music to prisoner of war Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, of Hailey, were well-received by spectators.
