     Trailing 9-6, Alternative (29 hits) batted around twice with 10-run and 8-run outbursts in the second and third innings, then added 7 more in the fifth. The game featured 49 runs and 57 hits. Joe Molyneux (5 hits, 3-run HR, triple) wielded one of many big Alternative bats. Others were Rich Lang 4 hits (2 HR, 4 runs), Kim Romrell 2 hits and 3 runs, Aaron Molyneux 3 hits (double) and 3 runs, Amberle Behr 3 runs, Ashley Anderson 3 hits and 3 runs, Donavon Romrell 3 hits (triple) and 3 runs. Shockers (28 hits): Jamie Stone 4 hits (2 doubles) and 3 runs, Jeff Martin 3 hits (2 doubles) and 2 runs, Trena Andrus 3 hits (2 doubles) and 3 runs, Pat Ballou 4 hits (3-run HR), Matt Adamson 4 hits (3 doubles) and Jimmy Bradley 3-run HR.

     Defending tournament champion 7 Dog Ranch nailed down the regular-season title behind a power-hitting display by Sean Harrington, who pumped out 3 HRs for 7 RBI in his first three at-bats. 7 Dog led 14-7 after four frames and limited the league’s best offensive team to just 11 hits. 7 Dog: Greg Edwards 3 hits (double) and 3 runs, Wendy Hosman 2 hits and 2 runs. Cups: HRs by Kenny Nelson (2 hits, 2 runs) and Casey Hawkes (2 hits, 2 runs), Sarah Benson 2 hits.
