Know The Code

Sun Valley Ski Patrol members, from left, Sean Glaccum, Whiz McNeal and Mike Lloyd, put the finishing touches on a statue of a miner, complete with blinking light, at Bald Mountain’s Warm Springs base area Saturday. The purpose of the project was to call attention to skier National Safety Awareness Week. Patrol members also handed out skier responsibility code cards describing seven points of skier safety. “We try to instill that safety is important and can also be fun,” Ski Patrol Supervisor Bryant Dunn said.
