Season Opener Cool And Smooth

On the opening day of the 2010-11 Sun Valley ski season, Thursday, Nov. 25, a skier glides along one of the new rails installed on Lower River Run on Bald Mountain. Good early-season snow conditions attracted thousands of skiers and boarders to the slopes of Bald and Dollar mountains over the holiday weekend. Temperatures were a bit cold for some but allowed mountain crews to continue making snow on numerous slopes. Photo by David N. Seelig
