Shop in Hailey, win raffle prizes

The Hailey Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of the Hailey Holiday Raffle. Raffle prizes include more than $3,000 in Hailey Chamber Bucks as well as prizes from Hailey restaurants, shops, and service providers.

The Hailey chamber is also offering to wrap locally purchased gifts for Hailey shoppers. To qualify for the free wrapping service, shoppers must show a receipt for the locally purchased gifts.

"This program is designed to encourage people to shop Hailey for the holidays," said chamber Executive Director Heather LaMonica Deckard. "Now more than ever, we need to support our hometown businesses."

Hailey shoppers will receive one raffle ticket for every $10 spent at participating businesses, with a limit of 25 tickets per purchase.

Three raffles will take place, on Saturday, Dec. 11, Saturday, Dec. 18, and Friday, Dec. 24. Each raffle will include dozens of prizes and gift certificates, and one lucky shopper will win Chamber Bucks, $500 on Dec. 11, $1,000 on Dec. 18 and $1,500 on Dec. 24. Participating businesses will distribute raffle tickets beginning Dec. 11.

Aqua Pro gets award for excellence

Aqua Pro Spa and Pool in Hailey won a silver award in the 2010 Association of Pool & Spa Professionals' International Awards of Excellence.

The Awards of Excellence recognize the most beautiful and creative pools, spas and hot tubs across the United States and around the world. More than 300 projects were entered in the 2010 competition. Aqua Pro's project was one of 39 silver medals awarded.

The company received the award for an installation in Sun Valley that has blue and green tiles, an edge of Arabian black granite and a stone veranda.

Wells Fargo hires business manager

Wells Fargo has named Lisa E. Guinn vice president and senior business relationship manager for the Wood River Valley.

A 26-year veteran of financial services, Guinn most recently served as a senior commercial credit officer of Tri-Counties Bank in Chico, Calif. She served as manager of the U.S. Bank branch in Ketchum from 2003-2008. She earned an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA, both from Arizona State University in Tempe.
