Blaine County schools to give holiday performances

Blaine County school holiday performances will take place through December.

Performances will include Hailey Elementary with kindergarten and dual-immersion students today, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. for grades 1-3; and Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. for grades 4-5, which will include bell choir and honor choir. These performances will take place at the school gymnasium.

Woodside Elementary will have performances on Monday, Dec. 6, Tuesday, Dec. 7, and Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. for grades 1-5, at the school gymnasium. All performances will include "Songs of Peace and Joy: A Musical Revue."

Hemingway Elementary will have a performance with kindergarten, second- and fourth-grade classes on Friday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m. at the school gym. The performance will include the fourth- and fifth-grade honor choir and bell choir.

Bellevue Elementary School will have a performance at its gymnasium with first and second grades on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 6:30 p.m. A performance by third- through fifth-graders will take place at the school gymnasium on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 6:30 p.m.

The Wood River High School and Wood River Middle School bands will perform at the Community Campus auditorium in Hailey on Monday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. The two schools' orchestras will perform at the auditorium on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. The schools' choirs will perform at the auditorium on Monday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m.

Community School kindergarten through fifth-grade classes will perform "Snow Biz" at the Community School Theatre in Sun Valley on Thursday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m.
