Tip line could be misused

Does the Blaine County sheriff's tip line go against the Sixth Amendment? Notice of accusation: "A defendant has the right to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation against him."

People could make false reports to the tip line with a hidden agenda. Are the people of the valley safe from false accusations from a nosy neighbor, ex lover, vengeful person, etc.? "People with information can report it to the Sheriff's Office through the program via cell phone or computer. By cell phone, text the word BCSOTIP along with the tip information and send it to 847411 (tip411)."
