2 Walk Away From Plane Crash

Two Ketchum residents suffered only very minor injuries in a plane crash near Fairfield Thursday morning that totaled the Cessna they were flying in. Passenger Pete Ross said he and pilot John Craig had taken off from Fairfield at about 9 a.m. for a sightseeing tour that took them as far north as the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. As the plane approached the Fairfield airport on their return about two and a half hours later, he said, "We had a mishap in the landing process. I'm very happy. I walked away with a dime-sized scratch. --Photo by Kathleen Cameron
