Woman Injured In Traffic Mishap

Tanya Robinson, of Houston, Texas, is carefully loaded onto a gurney following a traffic accident Wednesday at about 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of state Highway 75 and Ohio Gulch Road. Attending to Robinson are, from left, Wood River Fire & Rescue firefighter Kenneth Nelson, Wood River firefighter and emergency medical technician Kelly Medina, Ketchum Fire Department Capt. Tom McLean and an unidentified man. Wood River Fire & Rescue Chief Bart Lassman said an SUV Robinson was riding in was struck in the rear by a Clear Creek Disposal truck and that four other occupants of the SUV were treated at the accident scene. Robinson was taken to St. Luke?s Wood River Medical Center and later released. The accident is being investigated by the Blaine County Sheriff?s Office, but additional information was not available Thursday. Photo by David N. Seelig
