Trailing of the sheep

Thousands of sheep pad their way
through the valley

For more than a century, sheep have trailed through the Wood River Valley. Last Friday, shepherds moved bands of sheep toward high country summer grazing. This band of 2,400 sheep and lambs is being herded from a hillside resting area south of Ketchum.
