Naughty Or Nice?

Santa Claus and numerous red-capped elves, along with a special guest elf with long, blonde hair, make merry during the tree lighting ceremony Thursday, Dec. 7, in Ketchum?s Forest Service Park. Approximately 150 people attended the festivities, said Betty Murphy, president of the Ketchum-Sun Valley Historical Society, which runs the Ski & Heritage Museum at the park. Santa arrived on a fire engine and took requests from good little boys and girls about their Christmas wishes. The crowd was entertained by Mary Poppen?s Children?s Choir while listeners munched on snacks. ?It made a great party,? Murphy said. ?It was a beautiful winter night.? Photo by David N. Seelig
