Olympic medalists from Canada bring fireworks to the ice

GRACIOUS OLYMPIC GOLD PAIR Jame Salé and David Pelletier wowed a sell-out house in an encore performance at Sun Valley Resort Saturday night. With incredible speed, buttery lifts and enormous enthusiasm, the Canadian skaters iced any possible question as to why the world insisted that they be top-of-the-podium in the 2002 Olympics. They showcased their fun-to-fluid style with saucy rock ‘n’ roll, and a pensive swirl through John Lennon’s “Imagine.” The two thanked the crowd and said what everyone wanted to hear: “We want to come back next summer.” Express photo by Willy Cook
