2014 Wood River High School graduates


The Class of 2014 graduation ceremony for 149 Wood River High School seniors and six foreign exchange students receiving Certificates of Attendance is Friday, June 6 at 7 p.m. in the high school gym, Hailey.
    Doors open at 6 p.m. Seating is limited. Parents should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. No one is admitted to the ceremony without a ticket. Day care will not be provided. Reserved seating is available for persons with disabilities or the elderly. Reserve in advance with Katrina Kolman at the high school 578-5024.
    Guest speaker is Wood River High math teacher Glenn Lindsley. Student speaker is Wyatt Caccia.
    Co-valedictorians are Mary Petzke and Drew Morse. The salutatorian is Matt Reidy. The school band, choir and orchestra will perform. Student Body president is Quinn Guthrie.
    Principal Peter Jurovich will deliver welcoming remarks and also present the Class of 2014. Senior class advisor is Chris Koch. There will be a reception after the ceremony.
    Other graduation activities Friday: Senior breakfast from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the high school; and the Senior Bash, 10 p.m. through 3 a.m. Saturday, presented by senior parents.
    Here are details about the outstanding top students, followed by the rest of the Class of 2014 with their post-graduate plans. The 23 Principal’s Award students (3.8 GPA or higher) are identified by (*) and the Dual Immersion students by (DI).
