Snow Starts To Fly At Dollar Mountain

Snowmaking machines fill the air with icy crystals Wednesday morning at Dollar Mountain in Sun Valley. Sun Valley mountain crews took advantage of cold temperatures Tuesday night and Wednesday to test the snowmaking equipment on the ski mountain for the first time this season. Resort spokesman Jack Sibbach said crews will continue to test snowmaking equipment over the next two weeks and, if temperatures are low enough, could start running the equipment to establish a snow base around the end of the month.
