McCleary is a tireless worker

As a longtime resident of Blaine County and an advocate for citizen involvement in the land-use planning process, it has been my pleasure to work with Commissioner Angenie McCleary. She diligently considers every issue before her. On many occasions, I have received her late-night and thoughtful emails. Long after I had gone to bed, Commissioner McCleary was still hard at work.

Recently, I lobbied Commissioner McCleary to consider adopting a countywide comprehensive bicycle and pedestrian plan to improve safety and opportunities for residents, and additionally to make the Wood River Valley a destination for bicycle tourism. Commissioner McCleary listened, agreed with the principle, became an advocate and dedicated some of her already overworked schedule to the goal.

As a board member of Mountain Rides, I have seen her support for a transportation system vital to workers, our youth and, equally as important, to our tourist-based economy.

Angenie is a remarkable asset to our community. Please support Angenie McCleary for Blaine County commissioner.
