A 25-year-old Bellevue man was listed in fair condition Monday at an Idaho Falls hospital after being injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening on East Glendale Road southeast of Bellevue.

Kyle Menck was transported by emergency aircraft to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after initially being taken to St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center by Wood River Fire & Rescue ambulance.

Blaine County Sheriff Gene Ramsey said Menck "suffered severe injuries to his face, right hand and left foot" when his motorcycle, an orange 2004 KTM dirt bike, crashed shortly before 9 p.m.

Ramsey said Menck was eastbound on East Gannett Road when he lost control of the motorcycle near its intersection with Gannett Road.

"It looks like the bike skidded 71 feet from Glendale Road to Gannett Road," Ramsey said..

Because of Menck's condition, Ramsey said deputies were unable to interview him regarding the cause of the accident.
