Summing Up Sun Valley
Part-time valley resident Mariel Hemingway, left, and her daughter Langley Crisman pose in the Sun Valley–area mountains on the cover of the September 2011 issue of Town & Country magazine. In the cover story of the fashion and lifestyle magazine, called “Surviving Hemingway,” Hemingway discusses how she and her family have emerged from the sometimes-troubled legacy of her grandfather, author Ernest Hemingway, who frequented the Wood River Valley to write, hunt and socialize. The story was published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ernest Hemingway’s death in Ketchum in July 1961. Image courtesy of Town & Country magazine
