Hotel went down quietly 1-2-3 in its first at-bat, but Hotel was anything but quiet scoring in each of the final six frames capped by a 6-run seventh for a 15-5 lead. Mahoney’s pieced together a 6-run seventh and had the bases loaded with the tying run at the plate. Hotel: Riley O’Grady 2 hits and 3 runs, Doug Story 3 hits and 4 runs, Karen McNary 2 hits (3-run double) and 3 runs. Mahoney’s: Kim Meyers 3 hits and 4 RBI, Brandon Ivie 2 hits and 2 runs.

7 Dog (22 hits) tightened things up at the top of the standings and sent Power to its first loss. An 8-run third put 7 Dog ahead 12-4 and the winners never looked back led by the hitting of Sean Harrington (5 hits, 2 HR, 2 doubles, 4 runs), Morgan Uhrig (3 hits, double, 2 runs), Lisa Vadalma (3 hits, 3 runs) and Buddy Peterson (4 hits, double, 4 runs). Bryan Burrell’s 3-run HR in the home fourth cracked open a tight 5-5 game and Sawtooth Paint added 2 insurance runs in the fifth on a leadoff double by Jeff Burrell and singles by Kathy Harper (2 hits, 2 runs), Kristi Robertson (2 hits, 2 runs) and Bryan Speth (3 hits, 2 runs). Trailing 7-3 after two and 13-3 after four innings, Peterson Bros. (formerly Red Dog) erupted for 5-run innings in the fifth and sixth and put it away with a 7-run seventh. Leading the way for Peterson Bros. In their first win of the season was leadoff hitter Milton Brooks (4 hits, double, 3 runs), Danielle Carruthers (3 hits, 4 runs) and Anthony Rooney (3 hits, 3 runs), who clouted a 3-run HR in the final big inning. Also, Mike Beall (4 hits, 4 runs) ripped a 1-out grand slam homer in the 5-run sixth that tied the game 13-13. Peterson: Lacey Munoz 4 hits and 3 runs, Tommy Thompson and Brandon Beall 3 hits apiece. Cups and Bras (23 hits) continued its torrid hitting led by Ryan Stavros (4 hits, double, 4 runs), Alex Lindbloom (3 hits, 3 runs), Kenny Nelson (4 hits, 2 doubles, 3-run HR, 4 runs) and Anthony Anderson (4 hits, 2 HR, double, 3 runs). Leadoff hitter Bryan Burrell (4 hits, 2 doubles, HR, 4 runs) ignited the 23-hit Sawtooth Paint artillery.
