NEWS UPDATES:

Crossing Guard

With a guard dog looking on, sheep cross state Highway 75 at the East Fork Road intersection Monday as they are herded north through the Wood River Valley. For sheep, like everyone else, passage routes seem to get more difficult to navigate as the decades go by. This band of critters appeared somewhat reluctant to cross the highway but finally got to the west side, where an old right of way allows sheep bands to continue north. Thousands of sheep are allowed to graze on public lands north of Ketchum during the summer months.
