In these days of polarized political debates, I keep thinking, "Can't we all get along?" That's why I find it heartening to see the entire Idaho congressional delegation standing together in introducing the Central Idaho Economic Development and Recreation Act. This homegrown and long-debated legislation is a win for all Idahoans.
CIEDRA represents a triumph of bipartisan politics—a bill supported by our majority Republican delegation that's supported in a majority Democratic Congress. In these times, it's inspiring to see that the years of work that Congressman Simpson has put into this effort enjoys such widespread and bipartisan support.
Thank you Sens. Crapo and Risch, and Congressmen Minnick and Simpson. Maybe we can all get along!
