In addition, the club gave out two awards to its members. The Woman of the Year honor went to Lee Dabney and the Golden Spatula award went to Sue Heaphy for her commitment to the club's annual pancake breakfast during Wagon Days weekend.

The Papoose Club is one of the valley's oldest philanthropic organizations, and raises funds to benefit the children of the Wood River Valley. Each year the organization puts on community events including the Wagon Days pancake breakfast, the holiday bazaar and the KinderCup ski competition.
