Yes to Warm Springs Ranch

The Warm Springs Ranch Resort proposal is a high-quality plan that is just what Ketchum needs. This is about the future of Ketchum: Do we want to be a resort town or a retirement community?

This project will give the local businesses a boost at a time when the economy is uncertain. Merchants can feel confident that the struggle they go through to stay in business will be well worth it.

A five-star with a recognized name and international marketing will attract more people of all ages to visit, shop in our stores, eat in our restaurants. This is a huge step towards regaining a healthy resort economy.

If this project does not go through, it will say Ketchum is not open for business. It will say to the young people of our community that we do not care if they can find a job, make a living; even be here.

The average age of a homebuyer in Ketchum is in the mid-70s. I personally would like to see that lowered to 35 to 50. It would give Ketchum the competitive attitude that creates good business. We would gain more visitors, more tax revenues, and ultimately increase municipal services and quality of life.

We know change is hard, but this project looks good so far and this is a good team that will build something we can all be proud of and benefit from.
