In celebration of Epiphany, beginning today, Jan. 5, and running through Sunday, Jan. 7, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church and St. Thomas Episcopal Church will offer an experiential workshop to stimu-late renewal of worship life.
Marty Haugen and Susan Briehl will lead the work-shops. Haugen is a liturgical composer, workshop pre-senter, performing and recording artist and author from Eagan, Minn. For the past 25 years Haugen has presented hundreds of workshops and concerts around the world.
Briehl, a Lutheran pastor, has served in parish, campus and retreat center settings. Currently, she serves part-time as the distinguished professor of the art of ministry at Wartburg Seminary in Iowa, where she teaches homiletics and worship, and as an associ-ate with the Valparaiso Project on the Education and Formation of People in Faith.
They will creatively explore how to plan and lead worship that is relevant and meaningful. Workshop sessions will provide practical ideas to enhance the worship experience in almost any setting.
