Sun Valley couple
killed in car collision
in Nevada
ELY, Nev. (AP)—A Sun Valley couple
died Saturday in a head-on crash in eastern Nevada. A British Columbia
man also died in the collision and his wife suffered serious injuries
The highway patrol said William
Juchem, 79, and Garnet Juchem, 76, of Sun Valley were heading north on
U.S. 93 when their Chevy Tahoe drifted off the road Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say William Juchem
overcorrected and the vehicle went into a broadside skid.
Arnold Steiner, 70, and his wife,
Amy, 67, of Nelson, B.C., were southbound and unable to avoid the
collision 44 miles north of Pioche.
The patrol said the Sun Valley
couple and Arnold Steiner died in the crash. Amy Steiner was taken to
the University Medical Center trauma center in Las Vegas with severe
injuries.
