Not bad, Malad

The weather has been warm, and Idaho’s rivers are beginning to rise. Broadford Road resident Sam Parker took advantage of the warm spring weather last week to sneak an early-season run on the spring-fed Malad River near Hagerman. The run, which is framed by two hydroelectric diversion canals, is short, but it’s good for some early splashes. Express photo by Greg Stahl
