Championships
coming upDon’t put away slalom skis just yet
Taking it down to the end, the Sun Valley Ski Club will stage its Alpine Championships on March 30-31. Tuesday’s format features a two-run giant slalom and Wednesday will be a two-run slalom. Races will start at 10 a.m. unless the weather is unseasonably warm in which case start times will be pushed up to 9:30 a.m.
Registration is day of race from 8-9:30 at Warm Springs Lodge. The cost is $15 per person each day. You do not have to be a SVSC member to participate.
The post-race awards party will be held in conjunction with the end of the season party at the Roosevelt Tavern on April 7 from 3-5 p.m. The cost is $10 for SVSC members and $15 for non-members. RSVP by April 2 at 622-3003.
