Bald Mountain
to close April 18

Sun Valley Co. General Manager
Wally Huffman announced this week that "Bald Mountain will remain open
for skiing and snowboarding through Sunday, April 18."
Other closures of Sun Valley’s
winter facilities will begin Sunday, March 21, the final day of lunch
service at Trail Creek Cabin, Huffman noted.

Roundhouse restaurant on Bald
Mountain will remain open through Sunday, March 28, which will also be
the last day of operation for the Lookout, Exhibition and Sunnyside
chair lifts.
The Greyhawk and Cold Springs
lifts on Bald Mountain are scheduled to remain open through Sunday,
April 4.
Dollar Mountain and Dollar Cabin
will continue operation through Easter Sunday, April 11. Lifts operating
until closing will be Quarter Dollar, Half Dollar, Dollar and the
Accelerator moving carpet.
The Seattle Ridge, Mayday and
Kinderspielplatz lifts are scheduled to operate through Sunday, April
11. The Seattle Ridge Day Lodge and the Seattle Ridge area of Bald
Mountain will close after operations on April 11, Huffman noted.
From April 12 through closing
April 18, Sun Valley will operate the River Run, Lookout Express,
Challenger, Christmas and Frenchman’s lifts.
