Horizon offers
special airfare rates

Express Staff Writer

Seattle-based Horizon Air announced this week that it is offering discounted airfares to the Wood River Valley from two California cities.

Airline officials on Tuesday released a statement announcing that Horizon—through its www.horizonair.com Internet site—is offering $149 one-way fares from Oakland or Los Angeles to Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey.

The fares apply only to Horizon’s nonstop flights between Hailey and the two California cities.

The discounted fares will be available until March 28, only through the Horizon Internet site. The fares are available only to customers who purchase the tickets seven days or less before they travel.

The special rates can be applied to one-way or round-trip travel. The rates can be applied to an outbound flight that qualifies for the discount in combination with a return flight that does not qualify because it is scheduled more than seven days from the date of purchase.

Horizon currently operates a single round trip each day between Hailey and the two California cities, as well as Seattle.

Sky West Airlines offers daily nonstop flights from Hailey to Salt Lake City.
