A total 18 games on the season schedule for the 2002-03 Carey boys' varsity; 9 home and 9 away from home. All home games at Carey School gym are listed in bold. Of the 18 games, 12 are Northside Conference contests (marked by an *). When the girls and boys play on the same nights, starting times for home boys' games are JV 4:30 p.m. and varsity 7:30 p.m. When the boys play alone, JV is at 6 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m.

NOTES—Both Carey gyms will be used for the four-team boys' JV and varsity portion of the Dec. 6-7 Carey Holiday Tournament. Visiting will be Hansen, Challis and Mackay. Carey’s varsity plays Challis the first night at 8 p.m. in the new gym. Carey’s JV goes against Challis the first night at 6:30 p.m. in the old gym... The Northside 1A Sub-District tournament runs Feb. 13-15, 17-18 and 24-25 at Shoshone, followed by the Fourth District 1A finals Feb. 27 at Shoshone. The combined Northside/Southside gets five berths to state, with the Northside assured of state berths for its top two teams...The 16-team 2003 Real Dairy Shoot-Out State 1A boys' tourney is March 5-8, 2003 at Vallivue and Caldwell high schools in Caldwell.
