Badenduck and Marilyn Marshall are the 2002 Sun Valley Golf Club
champions.
Badenduck
(74-77 for 151-149 and $190) defeated Walter Littenberg on the first
hole of a sudden-death playoff Sunday, ending the two-day, 36-hole
competition at Sun Valley.
Littenberg
carded scores of 73-78 for 151-151. In third place in the Men’s 0-10
Championship Flight was Brian Saksa (72-81 for 153-153). Not far behind
was Mike Pirzynski 82-78 for 160-146.
In the
Women’s Championship Flight, Marshall (90-89 for 179-147 and $90) was
a six-stroke winner over Britt Palmedo (93-92 for 185-155). Placing well
in net was Brandise Sarich 96-97 for 193-151.
Clark
Shafer won the Men’s First Flight and $189 with scores of 82-75 for
157-135.

money, placing second through fifth gross, were:

gross—Buddy Wendell 82-85 for 167-141. Third gross—Dan Tucker 84-86
for 170-146. Fourth gross—Gile Williams 84-88 for 172-150. Fifth gross—Kris
Halle 91-89 for 180-158.

Murphy 80-80 for 160-130 and $143.50. Second net—Steve Demun 87-88 for
175-139.

Cox 85-85 for 170-140. Fourth net—Jim McElveen 87-94 for 181-143.
Fifth net (tie)—Tim Appleton 81-78 for 159-143 and Chuck Ferries 76-85
for 161-143.
Closest-to-the-pin
