Every
season in the Wood River Valley has something worth dancing about. That is
especially true if you’re one of the many talented dancers of the
Footlight Dance Centre.

The dance
group will present "The Four Seasons of Bach" Saturday, 7 p.m.,
and Sunday, 2 p.m., at the Wood River High School. As many as 235 dancers,
aged 5 to 18, will participate in the presentation.
Hilarie
Neely, director of the Footlight Centre, said the program will include
ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop and tap techniques, all arranged by
"season." All of the dances are performed to music by J.S. Bach.
One of the
highlights of the evening will be a performance titled, "Harvest Moon
Ballet," Neely said. Twenty-two of the valley’s most talented
ballet students will perform. The lead dancers in this "fall"
season piece are Christina Arpp, Marianne Brehmer, Estee Clifford, Jessica
Osburn, Marta Peterson, Kali Jo Selner, Zoe Stroebel-Haft and Britt Van
Paepeghem.
The
production has been choreographed by Footlight instructors Mitra Boloix,
Denise deLisser, Shellrae Garnes, Yvette Hubbard, Julie Fox-Jones, Michele
Minailo, Keri Payne and Anne Winton.
Tickets for
"The Four Seasons of Bach" are available at Chapter One
Bookstore in Ketchum and Read All About It in Hailey.
