NOTES—Jamie Ellison (2000-02, 185 points in 76 games) joined Chris Benson (1992-94, 101 points in 54 games) as the only Suns with three consecutive scoring titles….1999 scoring champ Vilnis Nikolaisons was the team’s scoring runner-up for the third straight year….Sixteen Suns had points tonight, with 8 different goal scorers….Luke Smith, who scored 16 goals in just 17 games this season, led the weekend scoring parade with 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points….The Suns outshot the Camels 98-59 and outpointed them 41-14….In scoring their franchise single-season record of 211 goals, the Suns ended up with 10 players scoring 30 points or more, and 13 with 20 points or better. Back in the 199-goal season of 1983, it was 6 players with 30 or more points, 12 with 20 or more….Paul Baranzelli had a Jordan Leopold-like total of 20 goals, the first time a Suns defenseman has reached that mark in a season….Suns leaders were: Points—Jamie Ellison 59.
