The meeting chambers at the Old Blaine County Courthouse in Hailey
overflowed last Wednesday night for the local political showdown called Politics and
Pizza.
Turnout was the best in years, remarked several of the candidates for
election Nov. 7 between answering questions about local issues. It was the 18th
candidates forum sponsored by the Idaho Mountain Express.
Candidates for Districts 1 and 3 Blaine County Commission seats, Blaine
County prosecuting attorney, Blaine County sheriff and Idaho District 21 Legislature seats
gathered to talk issues with constituents and debate positions with competitors.
