Wolverines Play A Game To Remember

The home grandstand was completely full and the crowd was extremely supportive of the effort of both teams during the Wood River High School Homecoming football game Friday against the highly regarded Gooding Senators at Phil Homer Field in Hailey. Gooding eventually won 42-40 in a thrilling game that boiled down to Wood River’s last-gasp attempt to tie the game with a two-point conversion run with less than a minute left in regulation. It was unsuccessful. Each team scored six touchdowns in an offensive display that entertained thousands of spectators.
