NEWS UPDATES:

It Sure Beats Going To Class

Bellevue Elementary School students Rachel Schmidt, left, Ashlyn Rogers, second from left, Jacob Kane, center, and Gabe Schults, right, get off a chairlift at Dollar Mountain on Wednesday with chaperone Bill Yager during the school’s designated “ski week,” during which Blaine County School District students get a few days off to practice their skiing and snowboarding skills at Sun Valley Resort. Students have been enjoying mostly sunny weather and good snow conditions in recent weeks, when the district has brought hundreds of youngsters to Bald and Dollar mountains on a rotating schedule.
