Banging Bumps On Baldy Sun Valley’s Renee Shapiro threads her way through Baldy’s Race Arena single moguls course last weekend during the Sun Valley Freestyle Spectacular competition hosted by the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation’s Freestyle Team for more than 200 young racers. In the F2 (ages 15-16) class, Shapiro posted solid results in the bumps, placing second in her class in two single moguls races (6th and 5th overall), and second in Sunday’s dual moguls as well. The skiers also raced in slopestyle and halfpipe in four days of competition on Baldy and Dollar mountains.
