The Hill Is Alive Skiers and snowboarders take a break Friday afternoon outside Warm Springs Lodge, at the base of Bald Mountain. Sun Valley Resort is reporting solid skier numbers in the days after Christmas. “There were over 7,000 skiers on Bald Mountain Friday,” Sun Valley Resort spokesman Jack Sibbach said. Despite snow conditions that some valley skiers are calling “epic,” Sibbach said the overall numbers for the holiday period aren’t drastically different from last year’s, yet the resort is “very happy” with them.
