Century-Old Tradition Lives On

Sheepherder Senobio Ciuce, of Peru, looks out over his flocks of sheep Saturday in grasslands north of Hailey. Numerous bands of sheep have been herded south through the Wood River Valley in recent weeks, an agricultural tradition that will be celebrated this weekend with the 16th annual Trailing of the Sheep Festival.
