NEWS UPDATES:

Alpine Racers Kick Off Season

Courtesy photo by Heather Black. No doubt about it, Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation alpine racer Samantha Busby is headed downhill—and going pretty fast at that—during Saturday’s Eric Hays Memorial ladies giant slalom race on Payday run at Park City, Utah. Busby was on fire for Sun Valley in the field of 80 female racers and 134 men as the Intermountain Division racing season debuted with four days of technical racing. She opened the competition Thursday with a ninth-place slalom finish to win the J3 (ages 13-14) class. Busby followed with a J3 silver in slalom, and bronze and silver in giant slalom—in the process making the top 10 overall in the first three events.
