Cookies For A Cause

Students from Hailey Elementary School participated in Hailey’s tree-lighting ceremony Saturday evening in a helpful and gratifying way. Members from Hailey’s Girl Scout Troop 20 sold cookies and other holiday treats to raise money to send cookies to U.S. soldiers serving in Afghanistan. Participants included, from left, Sierra Stern, Britt Heaphy, Taylor Telford, Faye Prekeges, Petra Glenn, Davis Olson, Abby Heaphy and Kaia Jensen. According to Prekeges, center, “It feels really good to help Petra’s brother and his fellow soldiers.
