Colorful Art Wins Valley Hearts
Longtime valley resident Betsy Pearson, 89, savors the attention during an opening exhibition of her Idaho landscapes at the Green Antelope Gallery in Bellevue last weekend. Several of her works were sold at the reception. Pearson was recently selected to be a member of the 2011 Blaine County Heritage Court, which honors ladies in the valley for their contributions to the community and its history. A syndicated columnist for the New York Herald Tribune for 17 years, Pearson has also published four books. She has three grown children, Ridley, Wendy and Brad. She was married to her husband, Bob, for 63 years until his passing in 2008. Ridley Pearson is a celebrated author known for his “Killer” crime series novels set in Sun Valley. Photo by Willy Cook
