NEWS UPDATES:

Kids Taking Care Of Kids

Kindergarten students West Gardner, left, and Jack Herlinger team up to feed milk formula to one of four baby goats that arrived earlier this week at the Mountain School, a Waldorf school just north of Bellevue. The goats have joined a family of other farm animals at the school including a cow, sheep, horses, chickens, ducks and rabbits. As part of the hands-on learning promoted in Waldorf education, children at the school help care for the animals. Photo by David N. Seelig
