Build It And They Will Skim The final day of skiing and snowboarding this season at Dollar Mountain was celebrated Sunday, April 3, with the Dollar Dayz event. Hundreds of spectators turned out for a barbecue and to watch 120 skiers and boarders attempt to navigate across a 92-foot-wide pond filled with 3 feet of 37-degree water. Snowboarder Zach Venzon, front, and firefighter Jamie Hoover—wearing his uniform—pulled a double entry and both successfully glided across the pond.
