Ramsey sworn in as new sheriff

Appointment made in 3-0 vote by county commissioners

Gene Ramsey, who has served as Blaine County’s chief deputy for 33 years, is sworn in Tuesday as the new sheriff to replace Walt Femling. Ramsey’s appointment was unanimously approved Monday evening by Blaine County commissioners. Photo by David N. Seelig
