Rotarun Rolls Out The Corduroy

Rotarun ski area, three miles west of Hailey in Croy Canyon, opens tonight, Jan. 21, with a night of free skiing. The family-oriented ski hill has been groomed for the occasion. The area is open for evening skiing from 6-9 p.m., with lift tickets costing $12. Day skiing at Rotarun will begin Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with lift passes priced at $18 for adults and $12 for juniors, ages 11-17, $8 for children ages 5-10 and $5 for tots 4 and under. Season passes are also available. Bellevue resident Lorna Kolash will provide meals for the 2011 ski season. For more information, call 788-6204. Photo by David N. Seelig
