Ketchum Cook Shares Her Secrets

Chef Cristina Cook, owner of Cristina’s Restaurant in Ketchum, left, works Sunday with Food Network cameraman Rebecca Roberts to shoot a segment for the cable network’s program “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.” Two years ago, chefs Pat and Gina Neely, the stars of the Food Network show “Down Home with the Neelys,” came to the Wood River Valley for two days in the summer. The Neelys are co-owners of Neely’s Bar-B-Que restaurant, with two locations in Memphis and one in Nashville, Tenn. While in Ketchum, the Neelys visited Cristina’s and tried some of Cook’s soon-to-be-famous candied orange peels dipped in chocolate. They declared the tasty treats to be “the best thing they ever ate” and planned to feature them on the Food Network. The show is scheduled to be aired some time this summer. Photo by Willy Cook
