Garden Goes Big for Fat Tuesday

Mardi Gras revelers, from left, Wiley Ellis, Lisa Verling, Linda McMahon and unidentified masked woman dance to the funky beat of FourStroke Bus at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden’s first Mardi Gras benefit on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 16. More than 60 people attended the event, which included “hurricane punch” and Creole-Cajun food cooked by Heather Uptmor. The garden received many donations, including buns by Nancy Rutherford from Rolling in Dough. Brave single men and women were auctioned off for dates to benefit the garden. Photo by David N. Seelig
