NEWS UPDATES:

Voters Flock To The Polls

It was standing room only at Hemingway Elementary in Ketchum Tuesday, as a record number of Blaine County voters headed to the polls. Election officials said heavy turnout was the norm at polling places throughout the county. Blaine County Clerk JoLynn Drage said that by 5 p.m. Monday at the close of absentee balloting, some 4,771 in-person and mail-in ballots had been accepted. The previous record was set in 2004, when 2,806 absentee ballots were submitted. Photo by Willy Cook
