Crawling Curiosity
A fearless Zane Lyons holds a giant African millipede at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden’s annual Bug Zoo exhibition earlier this week. Among the largest species of millipede in the world, giant African millipedes are harmless herbivores that live in dirt and leaves, said Adrienne Southard, curator for the botanical garden. The botanical garden’s bug zoo exhibition features more than 40 native and exotic insects from around the world and will remain open through tomorrow, Saturday, May 10. Photo by David N. Seelig
