NEWS UPDATES:

Trojan Takes To Air

A classic T-28 Trojan, originally a Navy training aircraft, flies over Hailey Saturday during the annual Airport Appreciation Day at Friedman Memorial Airport. The T-28 was one of 12 planes of this type given to the Army to be used for research and development. Designed as a transitional trainer between basic prop and jet planes, the plane is light on controls, easily maneuverable and a nice airplane to fly, said Jerome pilot John Lane, who flew the craft to the delight of many before returning to Jerome.
